4‐(Pyrrol‐1‐yl)‐1,2,4‐triazole

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C₆H₆N₄, comprises one and a half molecules with a C₂ axis through the second molecule. Each molecule consists of two planar five‐membered rings connected by a triazole–pyrrole N—N bond with the triazole ring close to being at right angles to the pyrrole ring.
