| Abstract: | Cyclization of amides of  -carbamido- -(indan-1, 3-dione-2-yl) hydrocinnamic acid gives 1-aryl-2-carbamido-1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydro-4-azafloren-3, 9-dione. Alkaline and acid hydrolysis of these compounds are investigated. |
