| Abstract: | Cross sections for the photodissociation of ground state CH+ ions through absorption into the A1Π state are calculated for the lowest three vibrational levels. At threshold the cross sections for υ″ = 0, 1 and 2 are respectively 5.0 × 10?20 cm2, 8.1 × 10?19 cm2 and 2.6 × 10?18 cm2. |
