| Abstract: | Ellman's dihydropyran resin was used for selective protection of monosaccharide thioglycosides and glycosides. Following on‐resin acylation and subsequent cleavage of the polymer‐bound intermediates, product components having selectively unblocked hydroxyl functions could be obtained.  |
