| Abstract: | The synthesis of 3,6-bis(3,4-dimethoxybenzoyl)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine (2) and the scope of its reactivity in inverse electron demand Diels-Alder reactions are disclosed representing the first systematic study of the [4 + 2] cycloaddition reactions of 3,6-diacyl-1,2,4,5-tetrazines. |
