Abstract:Microperoxidase 11(MP 11) was adsorbed on active carbon by equilibrium adsorption method. The electrocatalytic behaviors of MP 11/C electrode for the reduction of O 2 and H 2O 2 were studied by cyclic voltammmetry and linear voltammmetry and RDE technique. The results showed that MP 11/C possessed good electrocatalytic activity for the reduction of O 2 and H 2O 2. And the mechanism of oxygen reduction is dependent on pH of the solution. It provides a reliable method for immobilization of enzymes and a promising catalyst for the reduction of O 2 in biofuel cell.
