Return times theorem for amenable groups |

| Abstract: | We extend Bourgain’s return times theorem to arbitrary locally compact second countable amenable groups. The proof is based on a version of the Bourgain-Furstenberg-Katznelson-Ornstein orthogonality criterion. |
