Compact,convex sets in R n and a new banach lattice. I.- Theory.

The present paper shows that compact, non-empty convex sets in R ⁿ form a wedge in a well-defined Banach lattice, which turns out to be isometrically Riesz-isomorphic to the continuous functions in S ^n–1, the unit sphere of R ⁿ . Among other results, we obtain Dini-like convergence results for sets, linking order- and norm-convergence.
