H∞norm approximation of discrete-time systems by constant matrices

Abstract:The problem of approximating a given discrete-time system by a constant matrix in H norms sense is considered. A computational scheme is given. Some related results are developed. The solution is based on allpass imbedding of bounded real matrices.
