Abstract:In the paper, sufficient conditions for the existence of an inertial manifold for the equation u tt + 2γ w u t − 2γ s Δu t − Δu = f(u) + g(u t) are obtained. The nonlinear functions f and g are assumed to have the Lipschitz property.
