Abstract:Effects of scaling breakdown in deep inelastic νN and ν?N y-distributions are assessed for both charged and neutral currents. Asymptotically free gauge models predict dramatic changes from scaling parton models, which invalidate conventional discussions of y-dependence. Non-scaling effects on Weinberg angle determinations are discussed. An additional complication is the presence of a longitudinal structure function, absent from the simple parton model.
