超小型OPFIRL的理论和实验研究

摘    要:在高气压和对泵浦场强及亚毫米波远红外激光场强不作任何限制的条件下,求解了NH_3分子三能级系统的密度矩阵方程。用迭代法计算了5cm至1.5cm超短样品管的OPFIRL的输出远红外激光能量密度。实验研制的4支样品管都成功地产生了亚毫米波激光。

Abstract:The density matrix equations of three-level NH3 molecular system were solved under the condition of high operating gas pressure and discarding any limitation on the power densities of IR pumping signal and FIR signal.The power density of FIR laser output for very short OPFIRLs with 5cm---1.5cm sample tubes was calculated numerically by iteration method.Four OPFIRLs with sample tube 5cm,4,3cm,3cm and 1.5cm in length respectively were built up and lase success- fully.The theoretical results were comformed by the experimental results.The transverse feedback effect which enhances the lasing process of 1.5cm laser was demonstrated.
