| Abstract: | Substituent effects on the thioimidate cyclopropane rearrangement and factors affecting regioselectivity are reported. Palladium-mediated coupling of the pyrrolothiomethylimidate rearrangement products with Grignard reagents provides diaryl pyrrolines in good yields. |
