Abstract: | Motivated by Beale (Commun Pure Appl Math 34:359–392, 1981; Arch Ration Mech Anal 84:307–352, 1983/1984), we investigate the global well-posedness of a free boundary problem of a three-dimensional incompressible viscoelastic fluid system in an infinite strip and with surface tension on the upper free boundary, provided that the initial data is sufficiently close to the equilibrium state. |
