原子束激光诱导荧光法测锂原子2~2P←2~2S跃迁的超精细结构和同位素位移

摘    要:发散角为4.7×10~(-3)弧度,残余多谱勒宽度7兆赫的原子束与线宽6兆赫的可调谐染料激光正交,激光频率在30千兆赫范围扫描,测得~6Li和~7Li的2~2P能级的精细结构分裂分别为9.7±0.4和10.5±0.5千兆赫,2~2P_(1/2)能级的同位素位移为10.7±0.6千兆赫。激光频率作2.5千兆赫扫描,测得~7Li的2~2P_(1/2)←2~2S_(1/2)跃迁的四条超精细结构谱线的间距依次为88±11、730±73和92±7兆赫,当光强为4毫瓦/厘米~2时,记录的谱线宽度为22兆赫。对影响谱线宽度、相对强度及测量精度的一些因素也进行了讨论。

Measurement of fine and hyperf ine structures and isotope shift in 22P←22S transition of lithium by laser induced fluorecence of atomic beams
Abstract:When a CW tunable dye laser beam with a linewidth of 6 MHz and a divergence of 4.7 x 10-3 radian irradiated across a Li atomic beam at right angle and scanned at the 30 Q Hz range, we recorded the fine and hyperfine structure of the transitions. Fine splittings in 22P terms of 6Li and 7Li have been measured to be 9.7+0.4 GHz and 10.5+0.5 GHz, respectively, and the isotope shift of 22P1/2 term being 10.7 + 0.6 GHz. With a scanning range of 2.5 GHz, spacinga of the successive lines of 7Li 22P1/2-22Si/2 transitions have been measured to be 88+llMHz, 730 + 73MHz and 92+7MHz, respectively. With a laser intensity of 4mW/cm2 and the oven temperature of 460C, the recorded linewidth was about 22 MHz. A number of factors affecting the linewidth, the relative strength of lines and the accuracy of measurement are discussed.
