Synthesis and redox properties of bis-ferrocenylethynyl derivatives of bis(dimethylphosphinoethane)manganese

Abstract:	Paramagnetic Mn^II and Mn^III complexes containing two ferrocenylethynyl ligands were synthesized. Their redox reactions were studied by cyclic voltammetry and chemical methods. The structures of the resulting compounds were determined by IR, ¹H NMR, and ESR spectroscopy. The structure of the complex (FcCC)₂Mn(dmpe)₂]⁺PF₆ ^– was established by X-ray diffraction analysis.
