Analysis of two recent tests of T-invariance

Inequality of the rates for K ⁰ → π⁺ e ⁻ υ₋ and K ⁰ → π⁻ e ⁺ ν transitions, reported by CPLEAR, and an asymmetry in the distribution of the dihedral angle between the π⁺π⁻ and e ⁺ e ⁻ planes in K _L → π⁺π⁻ e ⁺ e ⁻ decays, found by KTeV, have been announced as demonstrations of T-noninvariance. These results are critically interpreted and compared as proofs of the failure of reciprocity.
