| Abstract: | Synthesis and Reactions of Some Diphenylbismuth Alkoxides The synthesis and some properties of compounds of the general formula (C6H5)2BiOR are described. Nucleophilic displacement of the aloxy groups is readily achieved by reactions with thiols. Thus sulphur containing organobismuthines of the general formula (C6H5)2BiSR are formed in nearly quantitative yield. |
