| Abstract: | The syntheses of the novel pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine-based heterocycles as tricyclic analogues of O6-methylguanine are described. Compound 5 is a weak inhibitor of human O6-alkylguanine DNA alkyltransferase. |
