Abstract:A four-channel associative memory based on multiplexed synchronizing dataprocessing has been presented using photorefractive KNSBN crystals as storage media and liquid crystal photoelectric switches(LCPS) as thresholding feedback devices. The .experimentalresults show that some important parameters, including processing speed, output quality,etc., have been improved a lot, and the system can process natural images in quasi-real-time.
