摘    要:根据Shannon信息量,本文提出了离散型随机变量平均信息熵的概念并推导了计算公式,结果表明平均信息熵与调和级数有关.平均信息熵可作为评价信源提供信息量多少的指标.

Abstract:Based on Shannon' information quantity,a conception of mean information entropy for discrete random variables is presented and its calculating formula is derived.It is showed that mean information entropy is related with harmonic series and can be used as an effective index to estimate more or less of amount of information quantity provided by information source.
