Frequency Dependence of the Components of Dielectric Permeability and Characteristic Losses of Fluorite

Abstract:The epsi1(E), –Imepsi–1, and Reepsi–1 spectra of the fluorite crystal are calculated on the basis of the experimental (10–35 eV) and theoretical spectra epsi2(E) (10–27 and 8–20 eV). They were employed to decompose the epsi2(E) and –Imepsi–1 spectra into elementary components. The most intense transverse and longitudinal components of transitions and their parameters have been determined. The correlation between two types of components of transitions and their distinguishing features have been established.
