| Abstract: | A new design for the coated piezoelectric crystal detector cell is described; this provides very high sensitivity. Triethanolamine and quadrol are the new substrates used for the detection of sulfur dioxide. The new design and the new coatings together make possible the selective detection of sulfur dioxide in nitrogen even at p.p.b. levels. |
