Energy distribution of trapped electrons |

| Abstract: | Electrons have been trapped in an electrostatic quadrupole trap with superimposed homogeneous field of a superconducting magnet. Changes of their energy distribution due to synchrotron radiation cooling or due to resonant cyclotron excitation have been observed. |
