| Abstract: | The algebraic properties of isospin Ta, axial charge Xa, and Regge residues ?, A1, π, f are studied by means of a combination of low-energy theorems of current algebra and finite energy sum rules. The algebra of SU(2) × SU(2) × O(5) is derived. A meson saturation scheme with π, A1, ? and σ mesons provides a representation of this algebra and gives couplings in good agreement with experiment. |
