The extension of the Jacobi elliptic function rational expansion method

Abstract:Using a new ansätz, we extend the Jacobi elliptic function rational expansion method and apply it to the asymmetric Nizhnik–Novikov–Veselov equations and the Davey–Stewartson equations. With the aid of symbolic computation, we construct more new Jacobi elliptic doubly periodic wave solutions and the corresponding solitary wave solutions and triangular functional (singly periodic) solutions.
