Abstract:An analytical solution for the flow of a third grade fluid in a pipe is obtained using homotopy analysis method (HAM). The fluid considered is with variable space dependence viscosity. The temperature of the pipe is taken to be higher than the temperature of the fluid. Expressions for velocity and temperature profiles are constructed analytically and explained with the help of graphs.
