| Abstract: | The effect of sampling mass on the stratified sampling errors of solid materials was studied for the first time in this paper. Equations of the optimum sampling weight and the minimum sampling variance were presented, which provided a theoretical basis for the optimum design for stratified sampling. This theory was verified by the experiment of stratified sampling for chemical analysis of silicon carbide material. It is generally applicable so as to enrich the theory of sampling in analytical chemistry. |
