Synthesis and photochromic properties of spiro (benzindoline-naphthoxazines)

Abstract:A new photochromic compound belonging to the class of spiro(indoline-naphthoxazines) was synthesized. Nitration of this compound was carried out and the structures of two photochromic nitro-substituted products were determined.
