| Abstract: | The free radical alkylation of pyridine with fatty acids in the presence of acidic solvent,a series of derivatives of α-monosubstitute prydine were synthesized using ammonium persulfate and silver nitrate as catalyst. The structures of these compounds were identified by UV,IR and 1HNMR. |
