Abstract: | It is shown that for fluids composed of particles interacting with pairwise-additive, spherically symmetric forces, the exact linearized transport equation admits mass, momentum, and kinetic energy as homogeneous solutions and that the kinetic part of the bulk viscosity is identically zero. |
