Elastic constants and attenuation changes in annealed BaO crystals |

| Abstract: | Acoustical velocities and attenuation changes were measured on BaO crystals at 23°C, in the as-recieved condition and after 170 hrs annealing at 1150°C (PO2 ≈ 10-6 atm.). Effects of attenuation and computed Cij are discussed. |
