| Abstract: | In the lead region a theoretical study of two-nucleon transfer processes is made with the help of the generator coordinate method. Both two-proton and two-neutron transfer reactions are described. The two-phonon pairing vibrational states in 208Pb are especially considered. Energies, relative cross sections and angular distributions are presented and compared, when possible, with experiments. |
