Difference of total cross sections for π± on 9Be and the π-9Be effective coupling constant |

| Abstract: | We have performed an extrapolation below 100 MeV of the difference in the total cross sections for π± on 9Be by means of an optical potential. This low energy region gives a non-negligible contribution to the π-9Be effective coupling constant. |
