Abstract:	Stable analogues of PGI₂, 7-hydroxy- and 7-acetoxy-PGI₂, were synthesized from protected PGI₂ methyl ester $1b$ via sulfoxides $6a$ , $6b$ through stereocontrolled sulfoxide-sulfenate rearrangement.
