Abstract: | Ruthenium catalyzes a carbonylative 3+2+1] cycloaddition, using silylacetylenes, alpha,beta-unsaturated ketones, and CO as the starting materials, providing the new method for the synthesis of tetrasubstituted alpha-pyrones.
