| Abstract: | 2,4-Dienoate was prepared by pyrolysis of 2-(phenylsulfinyl)enoate. N-Isobutyl-E,E-2,4-decadieneamide (pellitorine) was synthesized from decanoic acid in a satisfactory yield. |
