Abstract:
The structure of a dihydrosemibullvalene, , previously deduced from nmr and mass spectrometry and from chemical transformation of an analogue - is confirmed by X-ray analysis. The thermal rearrangement of other analogous arylated dihydrosemibullvalenes is disclosed.
