| Abstract: | Relative magnitude of lanthanide induced shift of COOMe(LISCOOMe) and methine proton (LISCH) of (R)-MTPA derivatives of 2- and 3-hydroxycarboxylic acid esters by Eu(fod)3 has been successfully correlated to absolute configuration of the original hydroxy acid. This method also allows simultaneous determination of enantiomeric purity of the original hydroxy acid. |
