| Abstract: | The title compound selectively reduces acid chlorides to aldehydes under neutral conditions and aldehydes and ketones to alcohols in acidic media. 4--Butylcyclohexanone is reduced to the alcohol with a high degree of stereoselectivity (94:6). |
