Abstract:	Nitrones formed from the reaction of $N$ -phenylhydroxylamine and aldehydes dimerized to isoxazolidines. A new thermal equilibrium between isoxazolidine and $N$ -hydroxyenamine in DMSO was studied by ¹H and ¹³C NMR.
