Abstract:The design of an inductance/capacitance two-terminal distributed passive electric network for simultaneously controlling several flexural modes of vibration is discussed. The efficiency of the network to annul multimode vibrations of simply supported, clamped–clamped and cantilever beams is demonstrated.
