Hydroelastic vibrations of a beam floating on the surface of an incompressible liquid

The article considers the problem of determining the forms and the frequencies of the free vibrations of a floating beam of elliptical cross section, on the basis of simultaneous solution of the equations of mechanical bending vibrations and the equations of hydrodynamics.
