Topological Limitations for Spheroidal Nanostructures of Gas Hydrate Cages

Abstract:A set of local topological balance equations is derived to define the admissible combinations of gas hydrate cages forming monolayer coverings around a certain void. All integer solutions of the set, which are the topological indices of the coverings, are given. For void distribution in a spherical layer, we have formulated the problem on the coloring of inner-void edges. Examples of coverings are considered.
