Abstract:The effects of additional magnetic field on ICP-AES light source have been studied. Some of these effects play a bad role in atomic emission spectrometric analysis,but others are of benefit to analysis. This work provides the optimum experimental conditions so that the the additional magnetic field in ICP source can improve the detection limit of elements and extends the linear range of calibration curves.
