Pulse polarographlc behaviour of n-nitrosamines in mixtures of water with methanol and acetonitrile

The half-wave potentials of N-nitrosodiethanolamine,N-nitrosoproline,N-nitrosodiphenylamine and N-nitrosodibutylamine become more negative as the content of the organic solvent is increased. The limiting currents are diffusion-controlled for the first two compounds, but adsorption effects intervene at low concentrations of solvent with the other compounds.
