THE ESCAPE OF BROWNIAN PARTICLE OVER POTENTIAL BARRIERS |

| Abstract: | A convenient method is introduced to calculate the rate of escape of Brownian particle over potential barriers by exact solution of Smoluchowskian equation. This method is applied to calculate the nuclear fission probabilities. The results for four different cases are compared with the results of other theories. |
