Abstract: | A study has been made of the influence of temperature, partial pressure of C2H4, and contact time on the selectivity of direct conversion of ethylene to butadiene over an aluminosilicate catalyst. A critical
analysis has been made of the competing directions of C2H4 conversion, which determine the selectivity of C4H6 formation under conditions of a heterogeneous-homogeneous mechanism in carrying out the process.
