| Abstract: | Esters of (arylhydrazono)chloroacetic acid reacted with tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane in the presence of trimethylamine under mild conditions to give 3-(arylhydrazonoyl)-5,5-di(hydroxymethyl)-2-oxomorpholines. |
