| Abstract: | Detecting the brokenwires of the stress ropes of Huangshan Yungu cable way, this paper analyses the causes of wire breaking, calculates theoretically and proposes a theoretical basis about safe run of stress ropes. The paper, in addition, discusses some technical problems in selection of the new ropes. |
